Q: Why do I need Jesus Christ?
A: Because I am a sinner.
Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins. Ecclesiastes 7:20
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
Q: What is so bad about being a sinner?
A: There is a penalty for being a sinner.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Q: What did Jesus Christ do for me?
A: He paid the penalty for my sins by dying in my place.
For I delivered to you as a first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God. 1 Peter 3:18
Q: What must I do to be saved?
A: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. John 1:12
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16
He said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:30-31
Q: Is believing all I have to do?
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Q: What if I don’t believe in Jesus Christ?
A: I will spend forever in Hell, separated from Him.
These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power 2 Thessalonians 1:9
And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15
Q: Do I want to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior?
But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:31
